Contribuiți la feedbackWe spent a whole day skiing at Brigels during the February break. It was warm and sunny and the terraces of all mountain restaurants were busy so we could only find room. It came a bit later for lunch than the average skier (1:15)... there were no queues and many free tables. The staff was pleasant, the self-service was efficient and generously distributed, there was a lot of choice and the prices were better than we have experiences at similar locations in the Swiss Alps. All-in-all a positive experience as part of a big day on the ski slopes.
The views from this place are remarkable, as well as the atmosphere combined with a very friendly service. Eating in ski restaurants are usually quite standard offer, which is also worth a visit here, but nevertheless.
There seems to be confusion as most reviews including the pictures NOT of Alp Dado in the Brigels/Waltensburg ski area, but those with the same name are in Flims/Laax. This Alp Dado is a simple restaurant (self-service side for skiers... offers the usual frits, sausages, soups, salad bar and some choices from the daily menu. Unfortunately there are very few dishes that are gluten-free and vegetarian and even the vegetarian daily meal had flour in it. (Should be easy to thicken the sauce with cornena, which is gluten-free... But the view is spectacular. The main advantage of Brigels/Waltensburg is very quiet, even during the high ski season and there are practically no queues on the lifts, much different from Flims Laax, where you must be ready to stand in line... in the display of skiing.
We came several times during this season and enjoyed great food as well as friendly service combined with a fantastic location each time.
