Chillis Foods - Igbo-Ukwu

I started patronizing them from when it was newly opened in 3-3. And up until last year I hadn't had a problem with them. I stopped going to Chillis sometime last year because of their poor customer service. They don't marinate their chicken and their Shawarma is nothing to write home about. One time I sent someone to get me fried rice and chicken from there and when I ate it I felt like throwing up. Mind you this was not the first time I've tasted their chicken and felt this way. I just kept giving them a benefit of doubt. In a better explanation, their chicken tasted and smelled like raw fowl. I looked for a customer care number to call and lay my complaints but couldn't get through to anyone. All in all I've made up my mind not to patronise them again.

I bought from the 3-3 Nkwelle branch.The food tastes good but there were so many bits of sand and pieces of something that looks like broken plastic or something in the rice and I would have demanded for a refund if I had not taken the food home. My boyfriend had similar experience twice. It's too bad.

I wasn't totally impressed with their fried rice, it wasn't satisfying. The price of their fried chicken is 2k, same with their turkey.

I did not go there for the food but the aroma coming from the kitchen was definitely enticing, the scene was calm and definitely a good place to have a meeting or hangout with excellent cell reception. I gave it a star because I did not test the food

It a very decent environment. They always have tasty food and snacks Good ice-cream, shawarma etc
