Fucking Mexican. GIGANTIC Margaritas! The small house Happy Hour one is completely a beautiful size. If you want to get your drink on the big one, it's good. If you feel wild, the giant is a small fish breast. We had a super delicious Chile Relleno Burrito and a decent Flannacht #1. Lunch on 2. Day we came back for the appetizer Platter, Sangria and a Tamale. Great flavors, friendly staff and good drinks. It is American Mexican food, but it is delicious with excellent aromas around

El Azteca Mexican Restaurant is located on an amazing route of historic Idaho Springs. With so many local dictated small shops and restaurants, it is the best place where you can come to spend your weekend and buy a few holiday gifts and fill in some amazing food. I ordered the Macho Chile Burrito and was amazed at how much taste and how to fill it. I was really just looking for something to refuel with which not too much effort. Amazing food, clean interior, friendly staff, all at reasonable prices Good work!

We thought here on the way for an afternoon hike. The staff was attentive. The food was served hot and full of taste. An excellent alternative to other restaurants in Idaho Springs. My only criticism would be that food came out a little slow. There was only more time to eat chips and salsa and canversate.

Wow. This is the fork next to the El Azteca Burrito for scales, they have a bigger burrito than this. In the back is the vegetarian Fajitas from the food light menu. Happy hour Margaritas are amazing, the best happy hour Margarita ever had and only 3.50ish? Waiting staff is fabulous and

Came here after a long day on the mountain and received prompt service, excellent happy hour margaritas, food was great and fast!
