Brownie's Drive-in - Ida Grove

I want to address some comments regarding the brownies at this restaurant. The criticisms are completely unfounded! The young staff members who work there are mostly high school students, including my best friend's daughter and the family members of the owner. I've worked with the owner, and they are all wonderful people. These kids are simply taking summer jobs, and they genuinely enjoy their work. It's disappointing to see someone speaking poorly about these young individuals and others associated with the restaurant. They clearly must be unhappy in their own lives if they feel the need to belittle others to feel better about themselves. We are all very happy to support this charming little restaurant and wish to distance ourselves from negative attitudes. Honestly, the restaurant doesn't need that kind of negativity in their business, and we certainly don't need it in our community. I hope that those who criticize these hard-working high schoolers realize that they are just trying to earn an honest living and build a strong work ethic. It’s unfortunate to see such mean-spirited behavior directed towards them.

Brownie has the best burgers and fries I've ever tasted. Their ice cream is exceptional, and the portions are very generous. I ordered a small cone, and it was piled up like a large one from other places.

The service was outstanding.
