El Porton - Ica

Ir seemed ok and clean. However, both my girlfriend and I got a horrible diarrhea after eating here. I would not recommend.

Classic Peruvian restaurant El Portón is in the heart of Nasca, very close to the Plaza de Armas. The restaurant is in a large patio and the food they serve is full of classical Peruvian dishes. They way waiters dress and the decoration is also very classic. The word used in Spanish for that is Señorial . The food is quite good and the prices, ok. At least when we were there, the clients were mainly tourists. And I 'm not sure if that 's good or bad.

Great Ambiance. The huge Cactus really anchors the place. Nice Terrace upstairs. The Tacutacu with lomo saltado checked all the boxes... Live music dude played 2 songs on his pan flute, sold a CD and vanished...all in all a very touristy place...

Lovely meal, but the portions where a bit small...

Food was good but as always on the door they say you can pay with almost every card but when you want to pay only cash. So you have to find an ATM.
