Iberia Family Diner

Stopped on way back from lake after considering every time I drove by .... great food and great service .... definitely coming back

Stopped on our way home from the Lake for lunch on Sunday. Nice, home style restaurant. They had a buffet set up with meatloaf, gravy, mashed potatoes and all the fixings that looked good, but we all opted for burgers. It look a while to get our food, but the place was pretty empty when we came in, so I'm sure they weren't expecting a large party (7 of us). The burgers were all very good, with homegrown tomato slices and really yummy tater tots. We all had sundaes for dessert, which were good, too. Their menu isn't very diverse, but had a selection of burgers and sandwiches along with the buffet. They have a breakfast menu as well, and had country fried steak available at dinner. Slow, but friendly service. The place was very clean, nice restrooms. I'd recommend it if you want a good meal and you're not in a rush!

Orange juice wasn't too good and they did not offer marinara sauce with mozzarella sticks (one would think that would be a given). Food took a long time to come out and there was at least a 15 min difference in the time from the first person in our rather large party to get the food to the last person. Burger was above average and fries and tots were decent. Staff was friendly and attentive.
