West Cornwall Pasty - Hythe

The woman who took my order was exceptionally nice, her friendly demeanor and rich Northern accent brought a smile to my face. She took my order and offered to bring it to my table while I was posting about my day on Facebook. She was so at ease and even offered me a napkin, which felt very motherly; I've never experienced such warmth from a restaurant server before. When she brought my breakfast, I was impressed by how she presented it on the plate with a napkin—everything was so clean and well-prepared, something I hadn’t seen in other places. Once again, she asked if there was anything else I needed, and when I jokingly asked for a decent guy, she laughed. It's rare to find someone with a sense of humor, especially in the early morning. I know that dealing with customers can be tedious, but it’s always nice to share a laugh; it makes me want to return. I don’t often give feedback, especially because so few people work hard enough to earn it, but having grown up in a household with a father who was a food critic, I learned to appreciate not just the food served but also the people who prepare it. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Once again, I find myself drawn to this restaurant, and I'm pleased to say that the enjoyable food and friendly service keep bringing me back. The staff always greets you with a smile and is eager to help. I’ve decided to make this my regular spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

I had the sprout, speck, and egg roll from the all-day breakfast menu. The bread was lovely, delicious, and satisfying, especially considering the reasonable prices for a service area. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. The service area was also beautifully clean.

I stopped in for breakfast after crossing the channel, and the service was outstanding. The breakfast rolls are absolutely delicious, so I highly recommend this place!

Upon our arrival, the restaurant was serene, but it took some time for us to be acknowledged and attended to. Nevertheless, the staff was welcoming, the prices were fair, and the food was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed a fantastic deal for £3.25 that included a speckrolle and tea.
