They were kind enough to sit us a little early. the food was great. service slightly lacked as the restaurant was full and it seemed maybe they were short on the staff. overall we loved it and cannot wait to go back!

Ideal place to dinate in the middle of the Hudson Valley--selectable eating, charming service students could be a little more attentive to fill coffee and teasing, and the timing a bit smoother, but they will learn) and fantastic location. plus can be on baked were in the cia for the trip to house on camp.

We had a pleasant brunch today, although this was mainly the setting of the cia, relaxed restaurant, the family with which we were together and our super friendly and knowledgeable waiter, john. we would not go back. none of our dishes of eating was hot, they were simply warm and had no heat from them, and they were all over boiled and dried. those who got eggs seemed to have only 1 small egg on their teller, that is kind of sneaked for brunch isn't it? especially a $32 per person. my man, for example, had the eggs, salmon, bagel and if he had put them all together, it would have been an egg sandwich as they would get at a deli, except for a deli they get 2 eggs, it would be warm and would not have cost $32. also the contained granola, obst, baked for the table were not very plentiful. what we would have given would have been good for a table of 2 or perhaps 3 not for a table of 6. it took long to get our food too. it seemed as if they were eating for a table, nothing would come out of the kitchen for 10-15 minutes and then they would bring out the food for another table. even if you consider that they were students, and it is a teaching experience, we will not be back.

All but our waitress were 5 stars. she was an over-offer and not helpful. she was very arrogant about the beer and the way she shared. she went on and on about her penicillin allergy and was not susceptible to our needs. we were not interested in hearing about their vater and their favourite cheese. seriously, she has divided too much over a short brunch.

We had a really nice time. Had a bit of a hiccup as the fire alarm went off because of something in the kitchen. Everyone was very nice and escorted us out to the parking lot. After a short time we returned to the dining room. My drink was free. Thank you. Food was great. We would definitely make reservations again and try another restaurant.
