Olive Garden Italian - Hyattsville

Our server, Aisha, was amazing! She made sure we were always stocked up on food and drinks, turning our family celebration into an even more enjoyable experience. We were already stuffed, but we couldn't resist ordering dessert anyway.

We came here for lunch while visiting my sister, who has special needs. The food we had was good, but the service was unfortunately very poor. My daughter ordered the all-you-can-eat soup, breadsticks, and salad, but our waiter hardly checked on us. She struggled to get her order fulfilled a second time. My sister was also treated disrespectfully, and the waiter was not friendly to any of us. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills and often had to shout to get his attention. Meanwhile, it seemed like other tables received much better service. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with our experience here. While the food was enjoyable, the service left a lot to be desired.

When we brought this to the manager's attention, he did not offer an apology or show any empathy; instead, he told us to relax and that her food would be out soon. Twenty minutes later, we had all finished eating, and my aunt was still waiting for her meal on her birthday. We approached the manager again to express our disappointment at her being overlooked. I asked how much longer it would be until she received her food, and he simply replied that he didn’t know, stating, "We have to cook it first." Since we had been there since 6 PM and it was now 8:15, I asked for my check to come out with the food. At 9:05, we finally received our checks. While our server was pleasant, the manager was rude and never apologized for the poor service we experienced. I will not be returning to this location.

My family and I had a wonderful experience. The restaurant helped make my 50th birthday celebration a memorable and enjoyable time. The staff was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend eating here. When trying to accommodate a larger group, it is hard to make everything perfect. But they nailed it. As to why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on the food. My herb grilled salmon was a little overdone. But, delicious nevertheless. I did not voice a complaint to the staff. Thank you to everyone

My food is always good from this location the portions were much smaller.
