Contribuiți la feedbackI 've never written a google review before, but this is the first place to make me feel compelled! We picked this place at random, and it was the best decision we could have made for the day. Amazing atmosphere, like a fantasy tavern! It was probably the most immersive atmosphere I 've experienced at a restaurant. My friends and I explored both floors before we left just to see it all. We just kept coming back to it in our conversations, pointing out new details to each other as we all looked around. The food was incredible and shockingly cheap! We kept passing plates and drinks around to each other going oh you have to try this. My friend 's walnut brownie was so rich and smooth it was like fudge, but not overbearing at all. My other friend 's hibiscus drink was incredible, super refreshing, very sweet. My other OTHER friend 's corn chowder (soup of the day) was hearty and fabulous as well. Yet everything was priced like an over-the-counter sandwich shop. We loved the staff! Warm friendly and full of banter. There 's a smoothie bar on the second floor, and the man running it passed out free samples to us and chatted with us when we walked by during our rounds of the place. (Smoothies: great as well). All of us left in such a great mood. We regret not being local. If we were, this place would become a regular haunting ground.
Whst a great place. I felt when walking in it was a Hobbit habitat! Everything is wood and quaint. Service was excellent and food was good and reasonably priced. A real gem! Easy listening music playing in the background creating real relaxed atmosphere. You won't be sorry.
This is a very cool little cafe. The outside is non descript, but the interior is beautiful it looks like a two story treehouse made from reclaimed wood. Beverages, food, and pastries are good and fairly priced. A good place to spend a few hours reading.
Enchanting vibes reminiscent of Lord of the Rings and many other fantasy worlds. The food and service was top notch. Apparently they are associated with a religious commune and they even have fliers on the table with info about it. Other than that it's a really cool place that you should visit and enjoy.
I was a regular as a teen when they were in Dorchester (plans in the works to reopen in Boston! rediscovered them on the cape, and had my favorite sandwich the Pauper Special, quenched my thirst with Hibiscus cooler and a carrot cake to go, all absolutely tasty! Service was great and all super friendly!
