Colombo's Cafe Pastries - Hyannis

A slight mix of reviews.. my steak tips were fantastic, but all the other food was over salted a bit. I would highly recommend the tips!!! Perfectly cooked medium and so tender. The green beans were actually cooked perfect for me as well. Soft with a little crunch. Risotto was salty as were the sauce and meatballs. First bite of the lobster bisque had a shell. Again a mixed review. For the record, I ate all my tips and sides, but my wife struggled with her selection.

Absolutely amazing food!! Told us wait would be an hour, 15 minutes later they called us back and said they could seat us!! I enjoyed the Buratta Linguini incredibly and I loved the turtle cheesecake. The street music was FANTASTIC, there was a birthday in our party and our waiter went over and requested songs for us!! Our waitress was fantastic, they were incredibly busy and they were able to keep up and check on us. Not to mention the amazing cars they have?? Wow!! There is a reason it’s so busy, this Italian place is not to be missed!! Thank you Colombo’s!!

First time here. Host was extremely nice. Our waiter was a sweetheart too. However the manger put our waiter on an assignment and our waiter was gone for 10 minutes without putting in our order. Wait staff were all seated at tables and being very loud while we ate. It was kind of awkward. Not a big deal for my husband and I, but I felt it should be in the review for others. Eventually my husband and I ordered 2 panini sandwiches which came out to be 30 bucks for both. We were offered a complimentary sale, which was a few pieces of lettuce and a slice of cucumber. Salad was actually better than our sandwiches. Our sandwiches came out, and they are so bland I can't even explain. We didn't want to make a big fuss, so we asked for boxes and left. Maybe the rest of their food is good, but the sandwiches are a no go. Never tasted more bland sandwiches ever. Will go back and try their dinner soon, and update the review.

So we were in Hyannis and needed lunch and this place looked good. UNDERSTATEMENT, this place was delicious!! Had some CHOWDA and it was on point and since I was more about drinking my lunch then eating it we went with a meat and cheese Board. Well that backfired, there was 3 of us and it was a ton of food and all great!!
