Alberto's - Hyannis

Overpriced Italian food tourist trap. I got mussels, clams calamari fra diavolo it's supposed to be spicy. Had no peppers, tomatoes or vegetables what so ever. Hard to be spicy when all you put in the dish pasta, sauce and seafood. My wife had chicken Alfredo, again no veggies. Had to ask to add broccoli; and then only 2 flowerettes. The service atmosphere was nice but so is Olive Garden with more food and less expensive. I would not return.

Excellent food, for the most part. A few items were not seasoned well enough. The scallop dish with gnocchi was good but the scallops had little seasoning. The broccoli rabie was flat tasting. The appetizers were great. We had fried artichoke hearts that were deliciously seasoned. Calamari was crispy and tasty. The eggplant with ricotta was well seasoned and tasty. Veal was not as tender as it could be, but the blackened scallops and chicken dishes were excellent.

We are frequent diners at Alberto and the food is consistently good. We love the quiet comfortable environment and the service is always excellent. The staff are very accommodating to special diets and needs.

Alberto's never disappoints specially if u get a seat near the windows to main st near fireplace... lovely! Our food was good, spaghetti Alle Vongolle (red) was absolutely perfect, however my spaghetti Alle Vongolle (white) was lukewarm, I don't know if they were waiting for other plates to be ready to deliver it to our table, but we'll definitely be back to try our luck again, tiramisu was superb!

The food at Alberto's never disappoints. The service during summer does not compare to the rest of the year. We had a young waitress who never told us the specials and took forever to bring to go containers and our check.
