Horrible Hotel. Shame of 3 stars. Coffee cup in the room was dirty (see below) and bed linen also. The most ridiculous part of our experience was: We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant, the staff there us (about 18:30) to make a reservation that would only be available on 20:30 and also our names written down. Then we waited for 2 hours in the room and came to the restaurant in time and only said they didn't get food and asked us to go. And the female staff did not even apologize for the mismanagement. When we asked why they asked us to make reservations if they don't have food and why they couldn't at least inform us because we were in their hotel room all the time. The staff there made an eye-roll expression impatient and reacted like: “What can I do? There is no food!’ We were as ridiculous as you could just say Sry. And all that happened at Christmas we had great difficulties finding alternatives at 21:00 nearby. What a cheap hotel they are!

The rooms are nice, but the value for money in the restaurant is not true. For over 5000kr, 100g fish fillet, 4 small potatoes, 2 roasted cauliflowers and a sticky old, gray peas pure. Sounds quantitatively according to noble French, but was qualitatively far from it. You can stay tidy here, but you should eat around the corner!

Beautiful hotel with large breakfast room, spacious rooms and hot tubs. The bathroom is tiny, but for one night it was great when we came back from the south and wanted to stop outside of Reykjavik to have a chance on Northern Light. It is well visited as we parked 3 buses in the parking lot when we came. Thus, sales are good and food fresh for breakfast. I'd stay there for a night to explore the south. Rooms: Super spacious, but bathroom is tiny. And our room has not been properly cleaned...Haar in shower and empty chocolate packaging by the electric plug under the table Beverages: Good breakfast, which starts early at 7 and with the possibility to make fresh waffles. Brands eggs and cod liver oil besides the usual suspects of cereals and bread. Juice coffee tea all right.

Very friendly service and great, clean rooms. We were in a triple room and had plenty of space. The hot tubs were very relaxing. Breakfast was the highlight of the hotel. You have a wide selection of breakfast food with delicious pastries to choose. They offer a special lunch where you can make your own sandwiches and it was the best and cheapest option for lunch we asked. 10/10 comes back.
