Rio Grande Tex Mex - Hutto

The experience was just average. I ordered the chicken puffy tacos but ended up receiving beef instead. The portion size was on the smaller side. However, the chips and salsa were quite good. The service was quick. Since it was my first visit, I would be open to returning. The menu had some appealing options, and it seemed like other customers were enjoying their meals as well.

My husband and I dined here before heading to a football game. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was extremely friendly. The prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent, making it well worth it. I would return, although it's an hour and a half drive for us.

I’m not sure why it took me so long to visit this place. The food was abundant, delicious, and incredibly affordable. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good the margaritas were. Usually, when I see sweet and sour mixer, I tend to skip it, but these had the perfect balance and a generous amount of tequila. Additionally, the restaurant is well-designed, and both the servers and bartenders are super friendly and provide excellent service. Rio Grande has officially made it onto my list of go-to restaurants.

When our meal arrived the waitress said she needed to use my wife's napkin because the plate was hot and she would bring her a replacement. None arrived. We asked three others for a napkin and still no one brought one. on the 4th request they brought thenapkin. By that time my wife had finished her meal. When we wanted to pay our check, we got no copy to see the charges. She hada hand held device for payment. She just told us the total of the bill. When I paid the device asked if I wanted a receipt and Iselected yes. No receipt printed. Food was mediocre at best. This is the first time we dined there since they moved to thislocation. It will be our last

We arrived a little late and we got a seat at the bar outside. It was pleasant out there. The bartender, Dom, was excellent! He made good drinks and he had good recommendations of places to check out in the area. The fajitas were really good and it cameout fast. A very pleasurable experience.
