I took the fries back to the front register where I had placed my order. An older woman was at the counter, and I explained the issue. Instead of being understanding, she began to argue with me, insisting there was no salt on the fries. I reiterated that there was definitely salt, and she eventually told the fry cook to make a new batch without salt. However, she then turned to a drive-thru employee and rudely implied that I was merely complaining about a nonexistent issue. When I received the second batch of fries, there was still salt on them—I could easily wipe it off with my fingers. At that point, I decided it wasn't worth dealing with that rude employee again, so I just ate the fries. My husband's cheeseburger was also overly seasoned, but we felt it best not to voice our complaints. With my experience in fast food, I know how to make fries without salt, and these were definitely not it. I've never had any problems with Culver's until this visit. The dining room was not busy, but the drive-thru was. I'm not sure what went wrong, but this experience has made me hesitant to return. I am very disappointed!
