Taqueria Burritos Locos #2 - Hurst

I recently tried suadero tacos for the first time and it was a nice experience trying something new. I'm not sure where else you can find them, but they were pretty delicious.

This restaurant is a great option for those last-minute cravings for Mexican food. I really enjoyed their unique name, "Burritos Locos."

I ordered a breakfast burrito and it tasted delicious. However, I found at least half of an egg shell in it, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, it was a good experience but the egg shell incident made me think twice.

After driving past this restaurant for three years, I finally decided to stop by today and I am so glad I did. A friend had recommended it to me and boy were they right. Despite there being three cars ahead of me, the waitress came out into the rain to take my order. She was incredibly friendly and we had a nice chat about my dog and what I should order. The lunch/dinner options were delicious and I also enjoyed the guacamole, chips, and salsa. I only had to wait in line for 7 minutes or less, which was well worth it for the quality of food I received. I want to thank the kind waitress who provided outstanding service despite the rain, and I hope the people in front of me tipped her well. I appreciate the variety of salsa provided and I hope the owner or manager recognizes what a gem she is to the restaurant. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. (5/24/21)

I was recommended this restaurant by my father-in-law and it is quite small with limited seating. However, the waitresses were very attentive and the food was served promptly. I particularly enjoyed the fact that they offered us three different salsas to taste. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my meal - I ordered flautas but they were overly crispy and the meat was not well-pulled. Despite this, I am willing to give this place another chance as they have a diverse menu that I would like to explore.
