Contribuiți la feedbackTypically a fan of hilton’s, but this hotel is in need of some TLC. Room cleanliness needs work. spoke with others and their rooms were the same. the carpets in the hallways are extremely stained and worn down. got into my room and it felt damp and had a musty smell to it. bought my own cleaning supplies to clorox everything. bought febreeze to try and cover the odor which didn’t work. the couch was stained, the bathtub grout has black mold in it, had hair still on the bathroom floors, green lump on the wall next to the shower, sink faucet was extremely worn, went to use a towel and saw that it was stained. Found cherry stems on the carpet which tells you they don’t vacuum. kitchen appliances work, but are original to the hotel . Would’ve expected more for a hilton hotel.
Another great experience. The hotel runs smoothly thanks to folks like Damarius. I was stuck without needed supplies, and she made sure I got what I needed. She was a real life saver, above and beyond! The breakfast crew is always pleasant and keep things well stocked, and the rooms are clean and most importantly, quiet.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Huntsville-Village of Providence. They went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome and special for our Family Reunion. In particular, I would like to thank Valorita Tatum, Amber Slinin, and Front Desk Clerk Kerry for their professionalism and patience dealing with our big group. I would also like to acknowledge the excellent job of the kitchen staff who were very gracious and kept the food coming, even if you were a few minutes late, according to my cousin visiting from Chicago. Thank you for making our Family Reunion a successful and memorable occasion and I recommend this hotel to anyone needing it for a group event!
The trip was very nice. We enjoyed the accommodations. The staff were courteous and the facilities and grounds were clean. The hotel was quiet and we enjoyed breakfast in the lobby. The food was cold around 7:45am. However, other food items such as the waffles were tasty. It was an overall great stay!
First, I am a huge fan of Homewood Suites. That said, I was a little nervous going in, because the reviews were very polarized. From the outside and the lobby, it appeared to up to par with other properties. However, after that it is a very tired property. The hall carpets are very worn and stained. In our room the tile floor in the bathroom was so poorly installed that it makes it difficult to close the door. The kitchen appliances are original (16-17 years old), though they do function. The original AC blows hard and has no way to deflect the air and so parts of the room get really cold, while other areas are okay. The guest needs the ability to control the fan speed and there needs to be a diffuser. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown, compared to other Homewood Suites. They didn't have waffles and oatmeal everyday. They didn't have Greek yogurt or garnishments, like cheese, for the eggs. Parking is problematic because the property does not own the parking lot. It shares it with several popular restaurants and shops. Sometimes it's wide open and other times its so packed, you have to drive around until someone leaves. The fitness room needs help. There are two treadmills and one elliptical, no weight machines or free weights. A father and two sons walked in while I was on the elliptical, saw there was no weights and left. The TVs on the treadmills and elliptical don't have the same TV service...only a few channels work. The staff was great! I hope they will do a re-fresh soon. So, would I stay there again. Maybe. The location is great, but there is a lot of competition in the area.
