Contribuiți la feedbackLoud gastropub with the slowest service ever. We sat at the bar and Chynna was our inattentive waitress. Positive noGreat turkey burgers with lettuce wrap and gluten free!! 7/15/19 I called in an order to go while at the Apple store. I was put on hold for a solid 12 minutes of bad music blaring. The guy who took my order could not understand me because it's so noisy in there. The service is subpar but the turkey patties arare great 7/19/19 My daughter and I were trying to cool off and hit the mall for steps. I was starving and decided to come back to Zin for a turkey patty. The bartender asked if I wanted a bun with it.
Let's call this a mildly belated burger review. I mean, two and a half-ish months late isn't too bad to talk about some tasty foods...right? It's okay that the burger in question was named after Oktoberfest...correct? Well, regardless of timing, Zinburger does dole out some decent patties of meat along with plenty of edible items to round out the place. Speaking of the physical building, it's got a spacious, contemporary feel to it, different than most other burger spots. The giant bar and abundance of TVs sets this slightly unique mood. Service is also relatively on point as our waiter was a friendly fella who checked in several times throughout the meal. Beyond spacious spaces and satisfiable service is the menu filled with stuff between the buns, and thensome. From a myriad of sides, to sweet-sounding milkshakes, to meaty (or sans) choices, to wine (it's in the name), Zinburger will hit you up with a selection worthy of salivation (albeit a la cart). That mouthwatering mood is mostly reached when the food finally hits the table. We ordered some zucchini fries as well as the sweet potato variety (waffle style). Both were tasty even if they felt a little heavy on the fried, oily front. The real winner of the meal was the handheld that I...um, held for consumption. A cool facet of Zinburger is their burger of the week varieties and so, back at the end of September, when Oktoberfest was all the rage, a burger named after this German-y holiday seemed like a real winner. It did not disappoint. To start, this burger laid down an angus beef patty and then continued by being topped with bratwurst, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, horseradish mustard, and fried onion rings. Wowsers! When it all came together, the flavors melded nicely, even if things fell apart a bit. The experience was palatable enough to make this a non-factor. Overall, Zinburger puts together a somewhat unique burger-gathering through their ambiance and menu choices. Yeah, maybe the pricing might add up with the burgers coming solo, but there's enough to like, from the menu items and good service, to warrant an easy four-star writeup. Hopefully the next time I come, I'll post about it a little sooner, though is it ever too late to report about good burgers? (I think not).
It had been over two years since I had been to Zinburger. My previous experience was subpar, but lunch today was actually very good. But could be because of my choice for lunch. I ordered a double Turkey Burger with avocado and wedge of lettuce rather than a bun. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. All was very good. I still find this restaurant a little expensive compared the other burger bars, but today was an improvement compared to my past history with this restaurant.
I didn't like this place when it first opened, and I still don't like it today. Firstly the food took forever to come out. We saw everyone getting their food except for us. We were about to leave when our food finally came out. I ordered the veggie burger without a bun. It didn't come out with lettuce as the menu said. It was also falling apart. It could have been cooked longer. The avocado on it was not ripe at all! It was so hard. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. He said it was okay . For fries we had sweet potato fries and Parmesan truffle fries. The sweet potato fries were good, but the Parmesan fries were terrible. They were cold! We couldn't tell our waiter about the fries or the avocado because he never came back to the table. Not even to refill our drinks. $40 spent on garbage. Very disappointed.
Always a great burger, exactly as ordered. Always ice cold beer. Burgers much better than local chains in the area. Great place for a casual meal before or after shopping and to watch your favorite sports. Service was a little off last visit but who cares? No hurry, no worry I like to say. And the Salted caramel shake is amazing, a have-to try dessert.
