Mission Taco - Huntington Station

We went for a family dinner. Ordered Nachos as an appetizer and Tacos for dinner LOL of course. Everything g was pretty good.

Loved the atmosphere, food wasn’t my favorite but the ambiance was worth the time

Great place, tasty food and nice looking decor. The only thing missing ambiance wise is good Latino music such as Gypsy Kings, Mavericks, etc. “Club” music was being played which didn’t quite fit the outstanding job they did decorating. Cheers

Food was OK, nothing to return for. Meat were bland and overcooked, garnishments overpowered food. Brussels sprouts were burned and shrimp tacos were mediocre. Server seemed uninterested and bothered to be on shift that day, got friendlier as evening wore on, but not great service

This was my third time to Mission Taco and each time is better than the one before. The shrimp and quinoa grits are EXCELLENT! I don't think my dad's eaten quinoa a day in his life but he loved these I didn't have the heart to tell him afterward that they weren't actually grits : The Mexican Street Corn is delicious as well! A huge hit! I've also had a number of tacos here but I think I've finally found my favorites the shrimp taco and the tuna taco were so good. The brussel sprouts taco is also a top contender, as is the carnitas! Also, the churros are sooo good definitely worth indulging a bit
