I visited this restaurant at 12pm on a Friday, expecting it to be open, but it wasn’t. Someone came to the door who didn’t speak English. Fortunately, I understood Creole and learned they would be opening in another 30 minutes. Why have business hours if you’re not going to stick to them? Shaking my head. Service rating: 1.

This has become my new favorite restaurant! The food is outstanding—definitely a 5 out of 5. The service is impeccable, also earning a 5. And the atmosphere is equally fantastic, another solid 5. Overall, a perfect dining experience!

The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the 3-piece Banan Etoufee and the Tasso; they were truly delicious. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a top rating of 5. The atmosphere was pleasant but not quite perfect, so I gave it a solid 4. Additionally, there's a convenient free parking lot, making it easy to visit. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a wonderful meal!

Y’all get online and just post so much negativity about this woman. My experience here was amazing, my friend and I were greeted as we entered the restaurant, I love love that the food is cooked as we order it, so there’s a bit of a wait but that’s good for me. I rather have freshly cooked food than to have food that been sitting there. Now for you negative Nancy’s, I seen a review that said the restaurant wasn’t opened exactly at 12. First off her store opens on time, I know a few restaurant owners who cleans and mops the place right before opening, so complaining that the restaurant wasn’t opened exactly at 12 because you seen her mopping the floor, you’re complaining about nothing. I plan on visiting soon and going to enjoy my Grio continue to serve amazing food love, see you soon

We got there at 12 when it was supposed to be opened, but the lady was still mopping the floor so we ordered take out instead of eating in. We ordered the Poulet/Chicken Stew and the Griot. I don't know if it was chicken. Tasted more like Turkey, but I couldn't tell because 3 of the 4 pieces were so dried, hard, and overcooked that it was like chewing rawhide. The one piece that was edible was okay. It was a leg that was too big to be a chicken. The Griot was decent, meat was not dried and was pleasant to eat, but the onions were too salty. The rice and beans were cooked, but tasted like it was days old because it was kinda hard and not easy to chew. This place has potential, but I wouldn't go there again.
