I visited for the first time last night after a recommendation from a friend. I decided on the buffalo chicken sandwich. Unfortunately I was less than impressed. You get more meat in the sandwich from a fast food chain. I’ll attach a photo of the sandwich after I but into it. The chicken was about 1/4” thick. I’ve never seen a piece of chicken so small on a sandwich. Honestly all I could taste was the coleslaw and bun. That was good but I wanted some chicken on my chicken sandwich. The service was good. I sat at the bar and the bartender did ask how everything was. I was honest with her too. My bill for the sandwich and one beer was about $35 plus tip. I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend the chicken sandwich.

Barely anyone in there Monday at lunch. Server was sweet and she didn't put in my order along with other 2 people I was with. She apologized, said it would be right out. Took another 20 minutes. It was a salad! Why 20 more minutes? Didn't offer to comp me due to this. Poor form. Do better gastropub serversFood: 5/5

The bartender Nicole is simply the worst. I've been coming here every week and have spent hundreds, if not thousands, at this bar. I have a great experience with Madison, Ariel, and Chelsea; they are fantastic and the reason I keep returning week after week. I strongly suggest that management look into Nicole's behavior and customer service skills, as she is driving customers away and not fostering a positive environment that would enhance the bottom line.

The menu at HQ Gastro Pub is impressive, featuring a wonderful array of classic pub dishes with a modern twist. What truly sets this place apart is the quality of the ingredients and the talent of the chefs. The chicken wings we tried as an appetizer were crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sushi rolls we ordered—the shrimp tempura roll, baked salmon roll, and California roll—were absolutely outstanding. We would happily order all three again! And we can't overlook the drinks. HQ Gastro Pub boasts an impressive variety of beers on tap, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're a beer aficionado or just looking to explore new flavors, you won't be let down by their selection. Last but not least, the staff at HQ Gastro Pub is exceptional. They are friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist. They truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at HQ Gastro Pub and can't wait to return. The food is usually excellent, but this was the first time I tried the roast beef sliders, and unfortunately, most of the meat was dry. It reminded me of Jack Link's beef jerky. I arrived around 7:30 PM on 02/28/23, and perhaps someone could have suggested a different option. The pretzel also didn’t look very appetizing. HQ Gastropub is one of my favorite places for a casual meal, but that night was a letdown. I'm left wondering if it was simply an off night—maybe the moon wasn’t aligned with the planets, or perhaps it was high tide with waves crashing on the shore? Just a thought.
