Golden Olive - Huntington Beach

Don't say you're open until 10 and close at 9. Love this place but serious. If you close early then post hours as such but if not don't. That's so disappointing.

We REALLY liked this place for the first several years it was there. Something happened and as it expanded, it came undone. The food does not seem as good as in the beginning and the service has gone downhill. I go there once in awhile, just to see if it's me, but it turns out it's them. Something has changed and my old 5 star place has become a new 3-star place. The original owner used to cook there I don't know if he still does or not, but whatever he did to make changes, downgraded his previously excellent kitchen work. Such a sad tale for a place that was really terrific for quite as while. It no longer seems the same. I will visit from time to time to see if they have improved, but so far no luck.

Anoud is the most sweetest person ever. We came to the Golden Olive a little later then we planned. She was welcoming, personal and such a sweetheart. The food, oh my goodness,couldn't even take the time to take pictures of the amazing deliciousness! I highly recommend this rad gem!
