El Pollo Loco - Huntington Beach

I visited the Brookhurst location in Huntington Beach tonight and was expecting shredded beef in the iBerri tacos as advertised. However, I wasn't sure what I received instead. I had a similar meal in the Fallbrook area just a few days ago, which featured real shredded meat, a hot dipping sauce, and was $2.00 cheaper. Unfortunately, this experience has lost me as a customer, despite living nearby.

Feeling uncomfortable after this interaction, my grandmother mentioned the situation to my younger cousin, who was with her. My grandma asked for a refund and simply wanted to leave. In an astonishing display of disrespect, the cashier tossed my grandmother's change at her. It wasn't until the manager finally came out that anything was addressed. This establishment is a disgrace and should either be shut down or, at the very least, require proper training in customer service. It's unacceptable to treat any customer, especially elderly ones, in such a manner. The cashier even put on a sweater to hide her name tag before my cousin could catch it. Please avoid this Pollo Loco at all costs!

I ordered the leg and thigh special. The main dish was tasty, but the flour tortillas were like chewing on rubber.

For 20 years go to El Pollo loco and certain shops have good food and services and others have not. But I'm El Pollo Loco's biggest fan.. thk u great food.
