What a night!!!! came here for the 50th of my wife on a Saturday night and it couldn't have gone better. Email to book for 9 and the pub have wheelchair access for our friend and was told it would be no problem. My wife and I came first and my surprise that their friends came from Essex. The owner Steve made us all welcome with a great banter and let us all laugh. The rest of the family arrived and we were shown to a big table in a section of the pub that we had to ourselves. Steve then gave us a bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday, which was beautiful and we all enjoyed it. The service and food were especially the beginning of the pork cheek that some of us had ordered. I had the Rib Steak Steak, which was perfectly cooked for me. Most of us had pudding that everyone loved. Full of food and wine we stayed in a great atmosphere until the end of the night and the drinks flow. Massive thanks to Steve and the team make me and Jen. Couldn't be asked of you anymore.

Really friendly service, excellent beer dipped fish and chips and very good puddies! Cream brulee wasn't what I expected, but the flames were for it.

A crunchy little land doll, in a quintessential English village! A fair selection of Lagiers and Ales. A nice simple menu, but excellent food. A good size beer garden with extra rooms from the front as well. If you're in the area, get in! Just 2 miles from the Nene Valley steam train.

Had a streamcut in a part of the pub, but the staff offered us friendly free sandwiches that was a nice gesture. Haddock Chips enjoyed restored with Power. Very nice and happy to recommend.
