Cromwell's Cafe - Huntingdonshire

We are a group of 6 consisting of family and close friends who tried this bar for the first time. we had a choice of pizza and burger menus and eating was freshly prepared, beautiful and hot and served in good time...time that eating was very good quality and good value. the staff was very friendly and made us welcome. we'll be back soon.

Came here last Saturday, just to eat a drink and a bit after shopping. even if we had to be outside (covid restrictions) I was pleasantly surprised. After sitting we ordered our drinks, no probs, ordered our food, no probs, (btw Burger...was fantastic! and to round it off, there was a dj that played great music (club style) to the new management I say good! overall a great time. will be back the only problem was the weather, and unfortunately nothing can do about it

Absolutely disgusting. I will begin with the fact that I and my friend wait for 30 minutes to eat. When it came out, it was the least appetizing thing I saw. my toast was cold anyway. that was a start. my ancestors were almost as if they were reheated. ah and now we come to the thema of the mushrooms. the most vivid thing I ever tasted in my life, it was almost as if it had been sat in a refrigerator for months. I could taste the earthly mold, and then we come to the drinks I asked for a latte that I was serving practically hot milk. now, then it came to pay, we stood and waited at the bar for about 5 minutes the manager and clearly someone from the head was closest to the table so that they saw us at the bar and still did not come to serve us, I ended up asking them if we could serve. I told the manager about eating and how it wasn't the biggest and wasn't satisfied with it, he said he would take a few things out of the bill for me. forget to add my friend had black pudding and speck good she was absolutely disgusted. in all fairness for her money, I would rather eat from the weather spoons and be happy with my eating instead of eating there again.

Came in to see how it was after the new owners took over. I was so amazed, they have completely changed the place. it is a friendly and welcoming environment. good prices for good drinks. all employees are so welcoming and accommodating. a wonderful place for a drink or eat. would definitely recommend it.

Made a booking for 1830 and then told that stopped serving food at 1800 after travelling for 45 mins and 25 miles through traffic. Not informed of any issues before arriving even though had a booking. Re-booked for a few days time and made a...complaint through Marstons Website. Within 24 hours had a response from Marstons and then the Cromwell's manager who couldn't explain what went wrong!!! Offered a free starter and drinks with our main meal so a fustrating experience but efforts made to try and correct situation. Did enjoy the meal in the end although the pub lacked some atmosphere. Never really understood why the initial problem occurred and manager didn't offer explanation other than they serve food until 2000 hours.
