Contribuiți la feedbackI've only ever been here during the summer so it's pretty dead. But I appreciate that they allow use of the ski lift. My favorite thing to do! I bet this place is amazing during it's peak season
In summer, Hunter Mountain Resort and the adjoining state park are great places to go hiking. The hike to the fire tower is a good trip, made easier if you take the chair lift.
Bad place, always closed, with misinformed office workers. Do not go there before calling the office to make sure what and if it's open. We paid 30 dollars for a taxi after being told that most of the attractions are open, but when we got there we found closed and empty place
This is a summer review and has nothing to do with their winter/skiing.Hunter Mountain’s site brags in large letters” WE ARE OPEN FOR SUMMER”. are they though? I was a huge fan of area summer visits and always going to Hunter. The best zip lines and sky rides around! But the Zip lines are defunct and sky rides are only running 3 days a week?! (Not the days we were here)So we explored the very close by Windham Mountain. Great sky rides and they offer hiking and mountain bike trails from the top of the mountain! Incredible set up. Insanely fun!
The lodge was beautiful! The employees were nice and very helpful.I think the rooms, or at least the one we had, need some updating. We had a studio. It was nicer than we thought from the online pictures. However, they don't, have a refrigerator or microwave. I didn't mind no microwave, but we had leftover food and cold drinks. We had freezer packs, but they wouldn't hold them in the freezer downstairs. I have never had a problem with any other hotel as far as that. They had a double bed! When was the last time they had a double bed and not a queen for 2 people? There was also a huge cabinet for a small TV.Who uses entertainment centers anymore?Needless to say, they need some updates. The room otherwise was clean and served it's purpose for just one night. The atmosphere downstairs, the surrounding areas, and the staff made up for what was lacking.
