Dan D'lion - Hungry Horse

I know this review may sound like an exaggeration, but I assure you, I am not picky, just someone who appreciates good food. My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional - the best culinary experience I have ever had! The vegan food was incredible, with complex flavors and perfectly paired sauces for each dish. Overall, just wow!

We were thrilled to discover a vegan restaurant near West Glacier, and Dan D'Lion did not disappoint. After a long day of exploring the park, our family of 5 was exhausted and hungry. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant made us feel right at home. Our kids loved the plant-based paprika mushroom soup and meatball skewers. The menu is gluten-free, making it a great option for those with allergies. The staff, who we assume were the owners, were friendly and hardworking. We highly recommend this restaurant to others.

We are delighted that we stumbled upon this restaurant! I just wish we lived closer so we could enjoy their plant-based cuisine more often. We had dinner and chatted with the owner/chef, who was lovely. The food was so delicious that we had to bring some home for our kids. This restaurant is a must-visit when in Flathead!

10/6/21 ask? yes. this surprising vegan restaurant in hungry horse was such a wonderful gift. it is on the way from whitefish to west glacier. I came to a day that had no more pastries because they had a big catering order, sadly me. I have a side of the pesto salad, spaghetti and meatballs and smoked black bohnenburgers. I'm usually not a fan of a pasta salad, but this one surprises me definitiw. it was so bright with tons of sweet. the meatballs in me were a little extra roasted, but that's in order. I can't describe the aromen here, but I think the best word is fresh there is something unknown about the sauce. the smoke black bohnenburger I found a bit on the sweet side, but this is to be expected when considering that there is a BBQ sauce. Overall I am so glad that this restaurant exists and it has saved me in any case at my short visit. I would come back next time.

I can't describe the flavors here, but I think the best word is fresh There's something unfamiliar about the sauce though... maybe because it didn't taste like it came out of a jar? Lol. The smoke black bean burger I found to be a bit on the sweet side however that is to be expected considering there is a BBQ sauce. Overall, I'm so glad that this restaurant exists and it has definitely saved me on my short visit. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Whitefish.
