Hippo Burgers - Humble

The place is okay. Hubby and I stopped for lunch. The meat is fresh and juice ?. The burgers are huge, but i personally didn't find them tasty. No special flavor or seasoned to taste. I think they can do better when cleaning. Smells like they cleaning the tables with the same dirty clothes and the floor with same dirty mop. The staff is kind.

So I?ve been coming to this hippo burger location since they opened a few years back, never had any issues. Tonight I placed an order for pickup and when I got home my cheese-tots had no cheese, and my bacon cheeseburger didn?t have the bacon. No big deal, figured I?d call and ask if I could have at the very least the cost of added cheese and bacon to be refunded, seemed the most simple option. Was asked to bring my food back up there to get the cheese and bacon?.yes you read that right. I live 15 minutes away, makes no logistical sense and my food would be cold. Was offered a discount on my next order, wasn?t given a reasonable explanation of how I could claim that at a later date given I have no idea when the next time I?ll eat here. I literally wanted a few bucks refunded?.seemed reasonable

Mushroom burger was to die for!!! My only complaint is I wish they would have left the onions and mushrooms in larger pieces instead of small diced sections. I also had their onion rings they were absolutely amazing!!! 5 stars!!! Will def come back here highly recommend!!!

I came in with my fiancé to get food for the first time here and I had high expectations due the the good reviews. We walked in and was not greeted and everybody that works there looked like they didn?t even want to be there. I had a specific order and the man at the register suggested me to order another burger for the modification, said it would be cheaper but still messed my order up and charged me more. The burgers were bland and dry. The bacon was burnt. And the fries were absolutely atrocious!!! We also ordered two cookies and cream shakes that tasted like chocolate milk with chunks of soggy Oreos. Very disappointed with the quality of food, the pricing of what the quality of food that they?re providing, and the service as well. We will not be coming back and I highly suggest going to Culver?s next door if you want a good quality burger and fries and good service as well. Never disappointed there.

I had the BBQ cheeseburger, pretty tasty! Good amount of sauce and the crispy onion rings we're on point. My favorite reason for coming here is the garlic fries, I could eat an entire bucket of those! It was around 8-10 per person, which to me is okay given that these are pretty big burgers.
