Mitchell's Pizzeria - Huddleston

This place hit the spot. Not much else to choose from for pizza in the area so I was a bit skeptical. It turned out pretty good. A bit pricey but besides making our own dinner there wasn't another option. The staff was fantastic. Super nice, helpful, and a lot of positive energy. The restaurant is right next to the marina and has live music. We didn't stay but Mitchell's was pretty busy. Looks like a good time all hours of the day and night. Parking: With the night time crowd in place parking was a bit tight.

There was a group of four of us. Two got the burgers which were overcooked and did not taste great (mushroom swiss and BBQ). One got the turkey club which was very mediocre, the lunch meats were not of great quality and there was nothing special about it, likewise for the Italian sub. The chili cheese fries we had as an appetizer with ranch were good but there again, nothing special. If you're spending the day on the lake it would be a good place to dock your boat and get something to eat but if you are coming by car, there are better places to eat. I will say the view was great and so was the service.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a place. Our drinks and food orders were taken as soon as we sat down, pretty good start. It took an hour and a half for 5/8 of us to receive our food with cold soggy fries as a side. They asked whose food was missing, my husband and I didn’t get our food. The waitress left, came back, said our food will be coming soon, then asked who else was missing food. Only one other person was. That other person received their food within a few minutes. We kept being reassured that our food was ‘coming’ and ‘once it goes back to the kitchen there’s nothing we can do about it.’ Yes, yes there is. You communicate. Tell them there’s a table with missing food and other tables have already come and gone in that time frame. Food kept coming out, but not ours. Two hours after we were sat, and 30 minutes after the rest of our table was done and had left, they came to get the check and said ‘oh did you ever get your food?’ No? ‘Let me go put that in real quick’ so you never put it in? What were you guys even doing. It finally came after that. Guess you can communicate with your kitchen after all huh. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I don’t know who messed up but communicate with each other and the customers.

One of the best spots on the lake. The staff busts there butts to take care of everyone! Music was stellar (Annalyse Marie), atmosphere was fun, beer was cold, food was delish and plentiful portions. Bring you patience if it’s busy but IT’S WORTH THE WAIT! Skylar was helpful and one of the most adorable hostesses! Hanna you’re crushing it! Parking: Courtesy boat slips too! Service: Dine in
