Nice store though alittle pricey on the bedlinen. Good assortment of kitchen goods and accessories at a reasonable price though. Friendly staff with good attitude.
It was quite a busy day at the store, but there weren't many employees around to assist. We were on the hunt for new brushed cotton bedding, but the selection was quite limited. It was nearly impossible to find matching duvet covers and flat sheets. While we managed to find what we needed, we had to settle for different color options than we initially wanted. The prices were reasonable, and other sections of the store seemed well-stocked. I suspect that the chilly winter weather has driven many people to purchase warmer bedding, which contributed to the limited selection. Usually, at Dunelm, customers can find exactly what they're looking for, so this was disappointing. I gave four stars due to the lack of staff assistance and the low stock of winter bedding options.
It's not a bad place, but the bed linen seems quite pricey—£43 for a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. It's been a while since I last shopped for something like this, but I don't recall it being so expensive. The quality is decent, but I was surprised to see that it was made in China!
The prices are reasonable, making it pleasant to purchase products in person where you can see and feel them, rather than relying on online shopping when you're uncertain about quality. There's also a lovely café where you can relax and refresh yourself.
