Contribuiți la feedbackI had a largely positive experience with a set menu here for a work Christmas party. The staff were proactive in telling me which dishes had gluten or were gluten free as they came out. Many of the dishes were gluten-free and they were able to provide gluten free equivalents for almost everything else (from memory only 1 side dish and the cheese board did not have a GF option in the set menu). The concept is the food is presented on large sharing plates and then everyone puts what they want onto their side plates. Where a dish was made GF specially for me they gave me a single portion on my own plate (different coloured crockery so it wouldn’t be mistaken for the standard dish) while others took from the large shared plate. The main risk of cross-contamination came from GF dishes that were intended to be shared by both Coeliac people and people who were eating gluten-containing dishes (i.e. dishes that didn’t need to be made GF specially for me). We kept having to ask for separate serving spoons so as to not stick gluteny cutlery into an otherwise gluten-free dish. I would feel more comfortable if I was with a group of people who were all eating gluten-free or if as part of their Coeliac accommodations they could have portioned out a single serving of these dishes too (in the same way they did for dishes that had to be made specially GF) to avoid cross-contamination at the table. Overall the food was very tasty and I’d eat there again but only with a small group of people who understood the cross-contamination risk at the table and knew to be careful with cutlery in the shared dishes.
Boy oh boy, what a delight. Came here over the long weekend. Sun was out, drinks were flowing and the food was hitting every note. Shout out to the service because it was great! The cauliflower and corn were an absolute treat and I'm still thinking about the aged sirloin. A must visit for sure.
We came here for lunch on a Sunday and were met with friendly and efficient service along with a nice atmosphere.<br/ <br/ We ordered some Bread w/ Treacle Butter, Asparagus w/ Butter Hazelnut, Market Fish (forgot the name) w/ Chilli Jam, and Lamb w/ Carrot Creme Fraiche.<br/ <br/ The bread was super fresh and paired well with the sweet butter, asparagus was cooked perfectly and had an aromatic flavour with the butter and nut combination. The fish was delicious and the chilli jam was reminiscent of curry and incorporated a lot of Asian flavours into the dish. Unfortunately, the lamb was rather tough to cut as well as chew, everything else on the plate was a bit lackluster and wasn’t seasoned that well.
At first i had no clue on what to get here as the menu is quite minimal but the outside exterior and view is so stunning. There’s hardly any noise as it’s not near any main roads or anything which is good. Really enjoyed my salad and didn’t think I would to be honest but they did surprise me but the drinks i wasn’t too much of a fan off. The service was so good as well.
Came here for lunch today and shared a bread entree, lamb main and carrot side with my partner. Everything was delicious and service was attentive. Would love to go back and try the other food again.
