El Chalan - Huanchaco

War 3 Wochen als Volunteer in Huanchaco und habe dort fast täglich zu Mittag gegessen. War immer sehr lecker! 3 Gänge inkl. Jugo für 10 soles! Ich empfehle als Vorspeise Papas ala Huancaina (Kartoffel mit einer Aji, frischkäse sauce) Und als Hauptgericht Filete de Pescado oder Chicharones (Fischfilet im Bierteig)

De este lugar me encanta el locro que preparan un plato te queda corto, sus humitas, papa a la huancaina, adobo de cerdo, su chicha morada es lo mejor... Claro lo demás también es bueno.

Voolveria mil veces a comer en chalan todo es buenisimo! recomendado al 100% y aparte la atencion es personalizada con un buen ambiente

Chalan HCO is awesome. Martin speaks English, so if it's necessary for you to communicate in English, he can handle it and then some. Totally OK to change up and specify your needs and wants as far as changes to plates offered on the menu and daily specials. But all the food is great however you have it anyways! Full service bar with top shelf liquor as far as Peru is concerned. Budweiser and Corona to boot! Clean, airy and fresh cafe area along with a sunny back patio. Try other Chalan's in Trujillo area. Buffet it up at Chalancito and take a full day to go to the hacienda in Moche, El Chalan, original... music every weekend, pool, beautiful spot! Very traditional for Trujillo! Also must visit San Francisco Salon De Te in Trujillo, ran by the same family. Just as delicious as the rest! All are safe and sanitary. All homemade in house food. Definitely worth your money and then some no matter which establishment you go to but especially the one in HCO! It's my fave! :)
