Xiǎo Hǎo Měi Hao-mei Chú Fáng

Wow, what a lovely place. After enjoying the scenic spot along the coast, we needed a spot for a late lunch and found 小好美 on Google. A fresh creative meal that fully satisfied both my husband and I. The salad was topped with their signature nut and spice infused olive oil, which they sell by the jar. So good! We had a lingering meal on the second floor porch and enjoyed the gorgeous mountain scenery. I definitely recommend.

Excellent ambiance! Rare find for restaurant like this. It is not in the city but easy to find on the main road. Parking is easy. A bit pricy but hey it is Hualien and my wife and I needed food soon.

If you are anywhere near this little restaurant, definitely check it out! The curry tastes amazing! Has a really refreshing, mild lemon flavour to it and the meat is super soft and tender! My girlfriend had the steamed pork rice and was also very pleased with it! The owner is a super sweet lady, who even kept the shop open after closing time, just so we could still get our food! I will for sure come here again, next time I'm in Hualian!

Very nice place and too bad it’s only open for lunch. Come early on weekends. We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday and half the menu was sold out. Tasty, beautifully presented food. We had just hiked Zhuilu old road trail and felt a bit underdressed for such a stylish place in our hiking gear. Better suited for a romantic meal out.
