It was the first time we went for a vineyard tour and wine tasting that we left without buying any wine. For 300 baht, the wine tasting only had 3 selections while there was a huge range of wine selections available at the counter. There is just one that's medium bodied wine during the tasting. Unfortunately, the 3 wines we tasted didn't suit our liking. We felt it's not a representation of the wine selections and just not enough during the tasting to decide on what wine to take home. The wine tasting experience itself felt odd too. The vineyard tour is nice and scenic with good explanations by the guide, however, the winery is not located here for those who are interested in the wine making process. It's also the first time being asked to pay for a voucher (200baht) at the entrance which is redeemable later for any purchases, but why the need and hassle for it in the first place.. We visited the Vineyard from Hua Hin. They helped organise a private taxi, which was 900b and took around 45 minutes each way. We opted for the flight of 5 wines with a cheese and meat platter. We were pleasantly surprised by the wine, and the food went perfectly. The vineyard itself is picturesque, with a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a visit if in Hua Hin.
