Contribuiți la feedbackThey have a phenomenal beer selection and a pretty good sausage. Deads are always a welcome page instead of Fritten. Large chilled German food inspired pub.
Food: (German American food, comforting and delicious) Service: (friendly, order at counter) Drinks: (good selection) Atmosphere: (chill, low key) Price: (totally reasonable based on quality) My favorite neighborhood haunt. The owner is friendly, as are the staff. The food is choice, especially the brats and the fries. Top notch beer selection and fun cocktails. The vibe is casual and cool. All that plus the Tuesday Trivia night makes this place a chill weekly hangout.
I'm in LOVE. Was in the area and decided to stop by this place because my husband and I were both craving fish n chips...and saw a few comments about their fish n chips being really good so decided to give them a shot. I was blown away by how good their food is. The fish n chips are to die for, great flavor, seasoned perfectly...even the tarter sauce is amazing. We also tried the sausage sample...the knackwurst was a true hit. To feel a bit healthy, we slid in a spinach salad which was also quite good, very fresh, large plump mushrooms and tomatoes. This place is a gem. We loved it so much, we had 2nds of the sausage and fish n chips. Great assortment of bears on tap. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and spread the word.
Top-notch food in a fun, friendly, casual neighborhood setting. Our group of four ordered enough food for 10 people, because everything sounded so good and we wanted to sample several things. The Pretzel Bites and beer cheese sauce were addictive. The Spätzle was comfort food at its finest. The fish and chips were the best I've had (even better than Poppies in London! . I also highly recommend the sausage sampler. Wurst sausages are often dry and bland, but Watershed's sausage sampler was incredible: house-made sausages that are tender and flavorful. We also loved the cabbage rolls, and frankly wish I had a plate of them right now on this New Year's Day morning : Check them out, you won't be disappointed!
Five foodies walk into a bar/gastropub and enjoyed some tasty pub grub. This visit was amazing. I demolished the krankenburger, shed made bacon piled on a burger patty and caramelized onions, beer cheese, bibb lettuce and tomato....yum! A tasty side of warm brussel sprouts and carrot salad came with it...you can choose other sides but this one was very good and recommended by my foodie offspring. We started off gnoshing on a couple orders of hummus wit ' vegetables and grilled bread. A smoked Rachel sammy was shared, brined and smoked turkey, shed kraut, swiss cheese, dijon and shed sauce on toasted marbled rye bread. They had some kasespatzle, spatzle in a cheese sauce wit ' fried onions, I had some....very tasty. A fish and chips platter was shared, yes yours truly did get a couple bites, 5 stars just like everything else. A glass of wine was imbibed and slightly spilled before the first sip, towards the end of the meal our waitress spilled some stuff in the same spot and we told her not to worry 'cause there may have been a spatial time warp discrepancy in that immediate area....she even brought the lady nearest to it a dessert to go.... I like that. Our son got an IPA beer that was very good, his mom and I tasted it, and the name of it is lost to me. I need to do a better job of remembering to take a pic of the receipt....helps me with my review. Our first visit was average but the second was five stars all the way...we 'll be back for more goodies.
