I also had a little trouble understanding the difference between the $10 and $15 menu items, but eventually, I figured it out and was able to express my choice to the servers. My husband really enjoyed the bread and butter; he ate quite a lot. Their hot sauce is excellent too, and I appreciate their ice because it’s not too hard.

Though prices have gradually increased to keep pace with the rising cost of living, this establishment stands out as one of the few that hasn’t subjected us to shrinkflation. The quality of the food remains high without any pretentiousness, deconstruction, or dishes served on wooden boards. Parking: Paid street parking is available right in front of the building, as well as on the sides. For those taking the train for lunch, the Cloister is just a couple of blocks from the nearest stop.

The pear salad was absolutely delicious! The setting and interior are quite unique as well. Highly recommended!
