Tony Thai - Houston

May 2021: I really enjoy coming here because they offer a great range of menu items. It’s just a shame they don’t stay open late. We love the seafood they serve, and the Papaya Salad is excellent as well.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Houston area. The food is always excellent, and the service is exceptional. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are delightful. I particularly enjoy the Tiger Cry and the coconut chicken soup. If you have the opportunity, don’t miss out on Tony's wings—they're amazing. The waitstaff is incredibly polite and attentive. I've been dining here for years and truly admire the hard work the staff puts in to maintain such a high-quality restaurant.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I found the service to be attentive and prompt. Our orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived in a timely manner. Most of the dishes were bursting with flavor, although I found the Red Curry to be a bit bland for my taste. The appetizers were nice, but if I were to visit again, I would skip them and opt for more main courses instead. My favorites were the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. The portion sizes are quite generous, so I recommend ordering one dish per person if you're dining with a larger group. That's a lesson I learned!

I visited this restaurant when I was starting to feel a bit unwell and ordered the Tom Kha Gai. It felt like the warmest hug from a mother! It was so delicious that I ended up craving it and had it multiple times. I even tried the same dish at two other places, but I keep returning to Tony Thai because theirs is far superior. The Tiger Cry was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the satay; it was just average. The portions are generous, but the flavor was somewhat lackluster. The staff is wonderful, and I really enjoy the little market setup in the front.

This is the best Thai food I've had in Houston. The prices are great, and the portion sizes are generous.
