The Nash - Houston

The food was a bit pricey for the portion size of the entrees. Filet was tasty! We got the Graze appetizer for $25; it had about 3-4 cubes of three different cheeses and three piles of shaved prosciutto that were rather skimpy, along with a jam and mustard (tiny cups) and a little pile of grapes. Way overpriced. Service was awesome though!

Appetizers were terrible. Had deviled eggs and ahi tuna crude. Fish was average. Would not eat here again.

It was OK. My husband and I went during happy hour, so they had some food and drinks at reduced pricing. Our server was very attentive but the food was eh. We had beef sliders, chicken sliders, and Margherita pizza. The pizza was not that good, the beef sliders were the best. My husband ordered 2 drinks, the cucumber gimlet, and the Paloma. The Paloma was made with house tequila and wasn 't that good. The gimlet was missing something, we think that the bartender forgot to put in simple syrup. I probably would have given this place a lower rating if not for our server. Glad we didn 't pay more for our food because it was happy hour.

It's more casual than expected from the menu price. The food was good but expensive for the amount and quality. The tuna crudo didn't come with the usual wonton chips, so the server brought 5 slices of toast. It completed the dish but also cost $7 for 5 pieces of toast. Overall not worth the cost to come back.

Downtown to see a show? This is a wonderful place to eat! We sat outside just because the weather happened to be amazing but indoors was beautiful. The staff was a genuine delight. Food was incredible: meat cooked perfectly and potatoes were literally some of the best I have ever had. We’ll be back definitely.
