The Lexington Grill - Houston

Really a lovely evening last night in lexington grill. this place was here forever and honestly, I had forgotten and forgotten how big it is. there is a full bar with something they want. the wine list is not extensive, but it is decent. I had the poblano suppe that had exactly the right amount of kick to him and the crabcake. I wasn't too hungry. the crab cake had no other fillers than some broth crumbs. the final touch was the chocolate mousse cake. it was so light and had the right amount of sweet. the berries were a nice note. it was a perfect evening. the clientel is somewhat older and it is not a hip scene. great place to meet someone or to have serious discussions about a great meal. only in part is the mark on the wine list. stay with cocktails.

Lexington grille is one of the hidden gems of houston. this place has some of the best food in the city. I always take my family here when they visit my sister says it's the best she ever had! the fish is consistently amazing, and their sweetness is always made exactly right. I also love her fresh bread and pesto. it is a beautiful restaurant that has been for 28 years. the owner hossein is absolutely delightful. he treats all like the royal! there are a few rooms that vary in the noise level (no are too loud,) so they can request a quiet space if they prefer more private eating or they can sit on the bar everyone is super friendly! if they are looking for a qualitatiw high quality culinary experience with great people in a beautiful, intimate atmosphere, the lexington grill or her place is her perfect! I'm not sure why it never appears when I'm looking for restaurants in houston the lexington grille is definitiw a best secret! cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

Always the best experience in lexington. eating, service, personal / individual attention leads to a wonderful experience. this is the largest place for a really quiet, relaxing evening with excellent dining and service.

Outstanding! We think this is one of the finest restaurants in Houston. It's small, intimate, and cozy. Down to six or seven tables, now rearranged for distancing, plus a few seats at the bar. What's great here is the food and the service. Over the past decade we've had just about every dish they have ever offered, and I have posted several detailed reviews. A couple with whom we dine out several times a year, who are more expert gourmands than we will ever be assert that the Lexington Grille's ordinary (and inexpensive) chicken dishes are all better than meals they have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants. Call a few days ahead and have them make potato soup for you. Try it! Better yet, call and ask them to fix something not on their regular menu. The owner works on site every night we've ever been there. Go before the crowds return!
