Shun Japanese Kitchen - Houston

I really enjoy her weekend happy hour. The prices are reasonable, and the sushi is expertly made. It’s a charming spot for a date, especially with the fantastic tapas! While the food can be a bit pricey, you’re definitely worth the splurge! Lmao.

I visited for the first time and had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious overall. I really loved the ambiance of the place. The only dish I didn't enjoy was the shells, as they didn't seem fresh to me; however, the manager kindly removed it from the bill. I would definitely go back!

My first visit to Shun was truly impressive! This not-so-hidden gem in Houston has quickly become one of my top three sushi places in the city. I highly recommend trying their sake pairing, as they offer a wide selection. I absolutely loved the uni pasta and will definitely be coming back!

Really such an amazing experience. Incredibly friendly and competent staff. Each dish was tasty and aesthetically appealing. To our surprise we have the chance to meet the chef and the owner! We wish we had enough room to have the fluffy pancakes! We'll be back! That was a great Sunday fun!

Great experience at Shun last Saturday. Unmistakably Japanese but many dishes have a twist (think lightly caramelized tuna belly! resulting in unique dishes. Service was very attentive, and dishes came out at a gentle pace. Yuzu ceviche and Hama crudo were refreshing. Hamachi kama yaki was substantial size. Beer mussels were good. Cauliflower tempura and toro brulee were amazing.
