Sambuca - Houston

I went with a group of six for a birthday dinner, and the atmosphere was fantastic as soon as we walked in, complemented by great music. However, our waitress only approached us to take our order and later to present the bill. We inquired about the $7 cover charge, which we weren't aware of, and she explained it was for the live music. Since we were a party of six, a gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which is standard and completely fine. However, when we received our bill, we noticed that the tip she added was $15 more than the customary 20%. While I don't mind tipping—I've always been generous—I found it unacceptable that she decided the amount for us, especially since we only saw her twice during our entire visit. That $68 tip felt excessive given the service.

Good food. Loved the live jazz/R&B. The crowd was great, which really livened the atmosphere. My 73 year old dad had a great time.

Server big lapses in his presence, food overpriced. Salmon over done, Best entree ordered was the pork chop, worst was the 2 small beef patties. Charged for a drink we never received.

Although the food was good the table area was Too dark, I like to actually see my food.

The food was wonderful and the drinks were awesome! We had steak and trout as shown in the pictures. Parking was a little challenging and the assigned seats with a reservation was a little to be desired. The area was open so we asked if we could sit at the table we liked and was accommodated.
