Saltillo Mexican Kitchen - Houston

Small restaurant with unpretentious exterior but nicely done interior. Advertised as a local favorite. The food and service were exceptional. My wife had the red snapper which was very good. I had the steak and enchiladas. This is not your typical Tex-mex restaurant. Nice departure from the usual.

The Wagyu meatball appetizers were amazing! They were perfectly charcoal-grilled and extremely tender! They were served. With a variety of delicious dipping sauces. The beer and mixed drink selections were on point. The steak and shrimp dish was masterfully grilled and the Saltillo enchies were yummy! Nicely decorated, nice bar, great decor. Very cozy place! Thanks !

Great food. Excellent chips and margaritas. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely go back.
