Rio Ranch Steakhouse - Houston

I liked this place for its breakfast. The breakfast was a nice buffet with custom omelette, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruits and selection of beverages. I enjoyed the cheesy mushroom omelette a lot. The cook who made it did a great job. The waiting staff were very courteous and friendly. This is a nice restaurant adjacent to Hilton, and I am sure it serves the purpose to feed guests perfectly. I certainly recommend this place for breakfast.

Connected to a major hotel you would think that this place is dialed in. So in order: Food: Subpar Meat seemed very chewy, even with the filet. Twice bake potato, at $8 was mashed potato put back in potato skin. Cheese strips on top not melted and mash potato refrigerator cold. Service: Sat in bar and bartender was not attentive and bar phone rang, without answer, many times. IMO, not staffed properly. Ambiance: Western lodge motif which works well. I love this part of the whole dining experience. This place is a haven for guys, gals and even families, but, save your money as it is not worth the price.

Absolutely the worst dining experience. Service is horrible Food came out cold. Took over 1hour to get our checks. Not to mention half of them were all wrong Understaffed Will not be back

It's connected to the Hilton. Has a few tvs and the bar is small but nice. Decent draft beer selection. The menu is not huge but they seem to have enough options. I have only eaten the apps and they were good. The food is always seems fresh. The bartender who seems to be the same guy every time is attentive and personable. Not a bad place to eat if you are staying at the hotel.

They did away with the good breakfast and only have a standard hotel buffet. Very disappointed. The staff is great still but now it's just a normal hotel breakfast buffet.
