Pupuseria Emanuel - Houston

The food was fantastic; we ordered pupusas, which were delicious. However, we also tried some sweet bread, and honestly, I didn’t enjoy it as much.

The pupusas are outstanding, and the cream-filled empanadas are wonderfully sweet. The plantains with beans paired with El Salvadorian sour cream, both made and imported, are fantastic as well. They also offer flavorful rice and corn masa, both of which are must-tries. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore something unique in Hispanic cuisine.

I ordered Pupusas, and they were decent, but there seemed to be more outer layer than filling. You can dine in if you have some time.
