Punk's Simple Southern Food - Houston

I was with a group and we ordered many dishes and shared the most. everything was delicious. our server was excellent. we had a great night - the only part was the noise level that made it very difficult to continue a conversation.

Good place for atmosphere, eating and service. is expensive.

Eating was ok, setting funky cool, restaurant was busy and energetic....all good things were taken away from the terrible service. we were a table of women and it became clear that our waiter became more attentive to tables with men who became very frustrating. we had 3 bottles of champagne in the run of the night that I had to pour on my friends every time, as our waiter was always gone. the manager even observed me and did nothing. we asked for another waiter and were told no. one of my friends is a food writer. big mistakes for the restaurant, as they never know who they serve.
