Postino Montrose - Houston

A few days to make adult decisions includes the decision on day drink or not on day drink. On this special day I decided to drink a day! I had a glass of Prosecco that really hits the point! We started the table cheese. I thought it was great, but for whatever reason, the man did not take care of most of him (or since he is the cheese lover more than me), so I found myself that I have sworn everything! I don't regret either. Since I almost ate the whole cheeseboard, I decided to have the spits for my meal. They were fantastic! a beef and a chicken in a garlic yoghurt... I'd keep ordering this. Since it was literally 11 a.m. when we arrived, we parked aboard and had to enjoy a quiet lunch. Very cool vibe IMO.

Total great experience! As the first timer, my spouse was impressed. Great clean food and environment. Great music. Pleasant staff. And when we were not sure, our waiter gave us clarity and even allowed us to taste the wine of our choice to help us decide better. Just a great experience and we will be back! Thank you. Simple and relaxing environment at 12-2ish on a Wednesday, sat at the bar and service was prompt but not overbearing which was perfect for dinning alone. Ordered the smoked salmon and loved the two types of bread offered on the side; also had the blackberry smash, substituting the standard green tea for black tea. If you have a smaller appetite or just eat smaller meals overall this was the perfect amount of food. Finished feeling much fuller than I expected and took the rest of my food to go. Decent experience. Food was delicious, really fantastic. Server was great and kind. Reasonable prices. The guy who refilled our water and brought our check was a bit awkward and he ended up splitting our check incorrectly, which was only a few dollars off and not a big deal, but still a slight annoyance. There were a few flies that kept bugging us throughout our meal which was a bit odd as we were inside. Atmosphere is nice though and it’s a good vibe inside. No major complaints, only a few critiques.

Very nice wine/bar/restaurant! Had a great time with friends. It was a bit loud. Perhaps this is the great wine recommendation made in the house cider. Lol. I tried her new cedar. Very crisp and refreshing to taste. This is the best chicken salad I've ever tasted! The raspberry dressing has the taste of all time! I could eat it every day! I tried to get a better picture of the menu, but it's very dark. Beautiful intimate atmosphere. Candle light and very friendly staff.
