Pinkerton's Barbecue - Houston

We stopped by Pinkerton's for lunch based upon the reviews and were not disappointed! The ribs were the best I have ever had. They were melt in your mouth tender and the flavor was spectacular. The brisket is excellent and the potato salad was the best. A highly recommend. I would not leave Houston without trying it.

Nut allergy friendly, haven't had the desserts but everything else is safe!Arguably one of the best barbecue spots in Houston, Pinkerton's is one of the only places inside the 610 loop that does a beef rib. And their beef rib is killer. Fatty, moist, great char.For four people I ordered a pint each of the Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, and potato salad; one pound of brisket, a half pound of pork ribs, and one beef rib that was approximately one pound. If you like bread, make sure you get enough for your table because they only gave me three slices for four people and the line got crazy long so I didn't cut back in to get more.Everything was great. One of my party enjoyed the pork rib more than the beef rib, but everyone else loved the beef ribs and brisket. I'd say the sides aren't the best but they're staples of Texan barbecue.Awesome that they have a full bar at very reasonable prices. Happy hour Thursdays with $2 beers.

Our first time here and my wife and I were happy happy. Out of all the other BBQ restaurants in Texas, this is the best by far. The brisket was absolutely delicious, super tender, juicy and with the perfect smoky touch. We also ordered a pull pork sandwich and it was out of this world. Even the pickles, jalapeños, the tangy coleslaw salad were fresh and tasty. Thanks Joe for making us feel at home. For sure we’re coming back.

Incredible BBQ. We pulled up before opening and there was already a line wrapped around the building, but the line moved very quickly. The menu is simple but everything on it is amazing. The overall vibe is very homey and authentic. Our favorites were the sliced brisket sandwich, the bacon Mac and cheese, and the potato salad.

My cousin and nephew loved the tender brisket and ribs. I may have gotten the wrong g thing because I was already full before arriving, I had the turkey sandwich. Bad choice. The beans were not southern baked beans that are sweets these beans were bland with no flavor.Parking: Parking okay but not a lot.
