Pho Ga Dakao - Houston

Absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding, and the service was quick! We had an appetizer and two entrées for under $25—unbeatable!

I absolutely love the pho and spring rolls! They are always so fresh and crisp.

Best pho I've ever had! They offer a variety of delicious dishes alongside the pho, and everything is tasty. You should definitely come and try it for yourself—you'll understand what I mean! Oh, and the iced coffee is absolutely amazing!

It was a rare old day in Houston and I still had a lot of work on the other side of the city to do so that we decided to find somewhere in Chinatown to go dinner. Our first option closed early because they ran out of the court they serve. We decided to try Dakao because we had heard good things about it, but never had tried. I can't believe we've never been here since it's next to another favorite restaurant of us. The interior of Dakao was very nicely decorated. Nice tables and it looked very clean. I was impressed. We ordered 2 bowls of Pho Ga Kho (dry chicken pho), as so many people rave over it and a bowl of Hu Tieu Dac Biet. The Pho didn't disappoint. We ordered the large and our large bowls at home hardly fit all foods. I couldn't even finish everything that's rare for me. Before that, I just liked Pho Ga Kho on the Pho trailer. Nobody else really compares. We liked it here. The taste is somewhat different here, but still delicious. There were large pieces of meat and gizzards. My son wasn't too sure he liked all the Gizzards, but I loved it. The one disappointment was that instead of our Hu Tieu we ended with 3 orders of the Pho. It was good so it wasn't a big deal, but I wanted to try more than a kind of court. Since our order should go, we didn't know until we came home that what we received was wrong. Even when we ordered the food, it took a while before our food was ready. We will definitely try again there for a dune in experience and other items on the menu.

Place is beautiful and big, food was delicious, I ordered 4 dishes, Hai nam chicken rice,dried vermicelli with chicken ,clear vermicelli chicken and banana flowers with chicken salad. Services is good and nice. Highly recommend
