Ouzo Bay-houston - Houston

It was cool and we went late so we had the restaurant to ourselves, but all the things the waiter recommended they were out of so we had to settle. They didn’t have everything they displayed on the menu. And the wine wasn’t chilled. Other than that our waiter was nice and the environment was great. The food was average.

The ambiance at this restaurant is amazing. It wasn't very crowded for an early Sunday dinner. The menu is packed with traditional Mediterranean dishes and everything we tried was perfectly seasoned and cooked. This would be a fantastic choice for a date night or special occasion. I was incredibly impressed.

Our appetizer was forgotten and was served at the last moment, just before the main course. We had to remind our server about it and rush to finish it before the main course arrived cold. At the end, it was assumed we would skip dessert, but we proved our server wrong. The food quality was excellent, but we expect better service given the prices and overall expectations. Hope to have a smoother experience next time.

Service was slow. We had Bronzino and it was bland , no flavor. Side dish potatoes were blah also.

The food and service was fantastic. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
