Mendocino Farms - Houston

I had high hopes for this restaurant after hearing great things, but I never got to experience the food. After placing my order and sitting down, I watched several people who arrived after me enjoy their meals and leave while I continued to wait. Two different staff members came by to check my name, but neither returned to provide an update. After that, a third person inquired about my order. I expressed that I just wanted a refund, to which he simply replied, “okay.” The manager who processed my refund was indifferent at best. Overall, the service was disappointing and showed a complete lack of care for their customers.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! I ordered a half Italian beef sandwich, southern macaroni salad, and the Thai turmeric lemonade, all of which were delicious. The atmosphere was charming and perfect for a relaxed day. The staff was quite busy, which meant they couldn't keep up with the lobby area. A quick reminder for fellow customers: please remember to clear your tables for the next guests!

The food is excellent, but we encountered a couple of issues. We had to clear the trash from our tables ourselves, and unfortunately, the staff member responsible for cleaning then accidentally sprayed cleaner directly into my drink.

From the food to the service to the atmosphere everything was excellent! I loved that they had a kid area!I had the pork sandwich and it was a combination of flavors very filling! My husband had the Peruvian beef and it is a little spicy but also delicious!Kid-friendliness: Had an area for kids to sit and paint!

Good spot for salads. Decent portions but the salads lack flavor and freshness compared to local foods. Service was fine too but had a few hiccups. Worth visiting if you want something healthy in the area
